(NO FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED - ALL TRAINING PROVIDED).

Mini Athletics is the first of its kind. Through 3 progressive classes, children aged between 2 and 7 go on a fantastic journey in athletic movement. They are introduced to the basics of athletic movement skills (running, jumping, throwing) in a play-based yet structured format. Children are encouraged to develop athletic skills that are fundamental to their early physical development. In addition, the exercises build cognitive and social skills, preparing them for the early learning goals.

Currently, Mini Athletics Bournemouth, Ringwood and Wimborne are looking to recruit for the position of Lead Sports Coach for our fantastic Mini Athletics sessions.

The role is part time: minimum 6 hours per week, majority weekend mornings plus the opportunity for weekday hours too.

The role will operate across Bournemouth, Wimborne, Ringwood and Christchurch and so your own transport is essential.

The successful candidate will need:

*Boundless enthusiasm and energy

*To be confident, patient and out-going, 100% reliable and have a genuine desire to offer young children a positive introduction to the sport

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with our customers, with a commitment to continually improve the customer experience

*You do not need any coaching qualifications, as you will be provided with full training

*A UK driving licence and car to transport kit bags from venue to venue

This role does involve supervising and working with or being solely in charge of children and young people.
