We are seeking a passionate and energetic Mini Athletics Coach to lead weekend public classes and deliver engaging sessions at nurseries and schools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering fun, age-appropriate athletic activities, focusing on key events like Javelin, Shot Put, Long Jump, and High Jump. This role requires excellent communication skills, a love for working with children, and the ability to inspire young athletes to stay active and develop their skills. Experience with children or in coaching is preferred.

Meet Harriet and Seb – your Mini Athletics team for Royston, Stevenage, and Hitchin!

Harriet and Seb are the passionate duo bringing the energy and excitement of Mini Athletics to families in Royston, Stevenage, and Hitchin.

With their shared commitment to helping children develop a love for fitness and fun, they are thrilled to introduce these engaging classes to the local community.

Harriet comes with a wealth of experience working in the charity sector, where she spent years collaborating with volunteers to make a positive impact.

Seb’s professional background is in publishing, specifically photography and videography, where he developed a keen eye for communication and a strong dedication to improving lives.

Together, their skills complement each other perfectly as they work to create a nurturing and inspiring environment for children.

As parents to two young girls, Lola (6) and Immie (4), Harriet and Seb’s priorities shifted toward creating a happy, healthy, and active lifestyle for their family.

Their journey led them to explore a variety of children’s clubs and activities, all while adopting a lifestyle that promotes sustainability and create a better planet for the next generation.

Their experiences as parents inspired them to take the leap and bring Mini Athletics to their area.

They understand firsthand the importance of building confidence, social skills, and a love for being active in children.

Harriet and Seb are dedicated to creating a welcoming space where kids can thrive, make friends, and enjoy being active in a way that feels like pure fun.
